It was a dark and gloomy forest. It was a sunny morning, and yet from the forest, it was only as light as you would expect when the sun starts to set, and the view of the sky only made it worse with rain clouds forming and no rain. Little was special in the forest and little was to be sought after or desired in it, as no Deerling would want to be roaming this forest. And none were.
There was but one creature roaming this miserable forest: a lonely Gallade. Wandering this forest somehow comforted him as he contemplated the fact that he was very unsuccessful with finding a mate. He has been searching for one since the day he came of age, but even as a nomad, one was very hard to find, and he had to come to terms with it. So just like the day before, he wandered the forest as miserable as he.
The plants on the ground were dying due to lack of sunlight, the trees were bare of leaves, and even the rocks were pale white and cracking. There was nothing truly remarkable in sight...
Until there was. The Gallade stopped in his tracks when he saw a mysterious glow coming up ahead. He set out to find where it was coming from, looking around trees and traveling across a few small trenches until he found it illuminating from underneath a set of rocks. Uncovering the rocks, he found a mysterious stone, glowing white. At first, he was going to settle with it being natural, possibly radioactive, and that he shouldn't touch it.
But when he looked closer, there was something attached to the stone. Taking it off, it revealed to be a little note, which surprised the Gallade a good deal. What man would wander through this miserable forest and leave something there? Surely it had a purpose.
The Gallade had a good English understanding, and could read what the note said:
If you're reading this, you've found this stone because you're wandering a depressing forest. Only the most miserable and lonely of creatures would purposely wander this forest, so for whoever it may be, I have placed this stone to correct that. To use for your advantage, wait for the opportunity to strike, focus your energy, and release the stone's.
Use the opportunity wisely, it may be the only one you have.
A bit confused, the Gallade reread the note several times. He knew it would help him somehow, but in what way?
He was about to put the stone back and just move on when he heard a crinkling in the leaves, startling him. He dropped the stone out into the open as the note blew up into a tree branch, as he dashed far to his right, out of sight. He hid behind one of the trees to see what else could be showing up in this... okay, I'm saying it too much.
It turned out to be nothing more than a regular human. He looked happy and content with himself, so he was probably just someone who made a wrong turn into this forest. He, too, noticed the glow coming from the stone, but the note was still on a tree. But now, it was releasing and blowing towards the Gallade.
Gallade was about to just leave as the man picked up the stone, but as the note blew past his face, he got another sight of the bold text:
Use the opportunity wisely, it may be the only one you have.
Now that the man was holding the stone, the Gallade had an idea as he remembered the note saying to release the stone's energy by focusing his. So, cautiously, he got out from the tree and used his long-distance attack that fit the note's description: Focus Blast. Focusing his energy into one area in between his hands, he aimed it towards the stone the man was holding and fired it as accurately as he could before getting back behind the tree.
As the man turned over the stone towards the blast, pulling it closer to himself for better examination, he was alarmed and startled when it simply broke in his hands. It practically exploded with rock bits, but even as it did, the white glow of energy remained in the spot. The man, confused, tried backing away from the glow, but it had come into contact with his chest and was already spreading throughout his body. It was all giving off the white glow of the stone, which the man passed off as temporary until he felt something pushing at his shirt.
Something at his chest was growing out, he could feel it. It was something in the shape of a fin, and it was protruding from his chest pretty noticeably from his shirt. Before he could make heads or tails of it, he felt something else coming from his back, as it protruded to the point of his shirt finally ripping. The man gasped, as a red fin-like horn had grown from his chest, and a shorter, more round horn had grown from his back. Not only that, but from the sides of the frontal horn outwards, his chest was becoming green.
"W...what's going on?" the man said, scared. The Gallade was still hiding behind the tree, not noticing what was happening to the man, and he continued to hide as he thought the man's dialogue meant that he had been spotted.
The green spread down to his stomach and around it, as it went up the sides of his torso to his shoulders and down his arms. Wherever the green went, the man's body hair was absorbed back into his skin. His arms lost most of their fat and muscle as they slimmed down a great amount. They extended out more as the lower halves (elbow-shoulder) became much leaner and almost like poles, as the upper halves (elbow-hand) flattened out much more. His thumbs and pinkies were sucked back into his hands as the rest of his fingers grew in size a bit, but remained slender as they lengthened a decent amount.
His torso also lost a lot of weight, as it became much skinnier and slimmer, especially at the more caved-in stomach area, although his chest still protruded a small amount. His torso area then shortened a great deal, so the horns almost looked attached to his stomach instead of his chest. His hips also grew outwards a bit more, becoming white, as his legs also became white and completely slendered out to the point where his pants fell off. He tried reaching for them, but hardly could as his legs extended outwards a great deal, as his toes all merged together into one mass with a pointing tip. The man let a yelp out as his heels shot up into him, disappearing and forcing him to stand on the tip where his toes once were.
He once again reached for his pants before he felt an odd feeling around his waist. He shot himself back up in surprise when a white gown practically sprouted from there, covering up what he was about to. Green underneath, it grew down to the floor, gaining several folds in it as it opened up down the middle. But the man felt a warm feeling down where his gown needed to cover, and looking inside, he realized that his gender had completely switched underneath the gown.
"What the-" he, now she, started, as her speech was cut short. Where green wasn't on her chest, white formed, as it went up to her neck. It thinned out a dramatic amount as her Adam's apple vanished in the midst of it, leaving her with a more female voice. She could not talk for the time being, as her throat and vocal chords were readjusting themselves to function with a new dominant language. "-voir! Gardevoir!" she could only finish.
Finally, her head started to change. Her whole head became white as it rounded out to look more spherical, with her chin no longer visible. Her ears retracted back into her body, disappearing as the sides of her head extended back into spikes to look like a masquerade mask. Her mouth shrunk down more, as her lips paled and shrank to the point where they were no longer visible. Her nose also shrunk down more except it did disappear like her ears, albeit she could still hear and smell without those parts. Her eyes moved more to the sides of her head as they expanded much more, rounding out and becoming red. Finally, her hair became green like her chest and grew out in much more. It grew down the front of her face, in-between her eyes, and formed curls down the sides of her head.
The Gallade finally had the courage to peek past the tree, and was shocked to see that the man he was just hiding from just became a Gardevoir in a matter of minutes. He could overhear what was going on by her new voice and language.
"V...Voir? Gardevoir? (W...What? What just happened?)" the newly made Gardevoir said, not noticing the glow still active on her head. To complete the changes necessary for the Gallade, the Gardevoir's memories were completely wiped from her brain, completely making her a regular Gardevoir. "Gardevoir? (Where am I?)" she asked like nothing had happened.
Now, the Gallade realized what had happened: the stone was made to give the lonely person who released its energy a mate through transformation and mind wipe. He thought the mind wipe was pretty harsh for an unsuspecting person, but he took the note's advice and took his opportunity to strike.
Nearing the Gardevoir, he used Attract on her, only for her to gain new attractive feelings for the Gallade. She walked up to him, as the two... uh, walked out of the scary forest to do whatever there together. The Gallade still contemplated how he was going to have what was once a regular man transformed against his will as a mate, but he passed it off as irrelevant, because the Gardevoir he had been looking for has just been created before his eyes. And he only had D.M. to thank.
