Dylan was walking along the street, minding his own business. He just got out of school for the day and had some time to waste. Luckily for him, the street he was going through happened to be the shopping center in his town, and with some money in his pockets, he was willing to try something new with his earnings. He just didn't know where to look.

He passed the usual food shops, clothing shops, barber shops, et cetera shops, but upon looking across the street, he saw a store he hadn't seen before: Antique Your Existence. Still not fully an adult yet, he wasn't the kind to be interested in antique items, and he was about to pass right buy.

But something blue through the window caught his eye.

Crossing the street, he walked in to be greeted by a kind of creepy man. He was wearing a black hooded cloak, had red eyes and navy blue hair, and had kind of a menacing smile. Was this to be expected in antique shops?

"Welcome," he said, "the name's Dirk. Dirk Mugec. You see anything?"

Dylan walked over to that thing he saw. What he found was a familiar blue helmet that didn't look like something that would be sold here.

"Um..." he said, "I don't think this is an antique. This just looks like..."

"Well well," Dirk interrupted, remembering that was his special item, "allow me to let you know that many of the items you see in this store may look familiar. From what I've been told, these were the original inspirations for character designs!"

"But," Dylan said, "this doesn't look like an inspiration. It looks like an exact replica of Mega Man's helmet." Indeed, the helmet was blue with a curve going between the eyes, light blue pieces of metal forming a pattern down the middle of the helmet. There were also red areas on the sides surrounded by the same light blue material. The helmet was even metal!

"Well then let me ask you," Dirk began, "what do YOU think inspired Mega Man?"

Dylan was at a loss for words. And he couldn't argue, because the helmet was still pretty awesome!

"Fine then," he said, "I'll take it."

"Wonderful," Dirk said, "now could you please try it on in that room over there?"

Dylan didn't understand why he needed a room to try a helmet on, but whatever. He walked in and shut the door, placing the helmet on his head. The helmet was a little big, and he was about to take it off and tell Dirk that...

"AH!" he shouted as the helmet sent a surge of electricity through his body, which was so powerful that his clothing burned off. He was still able to stand somehow, even though his legs were completely weak. Looking down, he was shocked (no pun intended) to see that his feet didn't even look like feet anymore! They had grown out, looking like they were now covered by a heavy metal encasing, except they were the encasing. This blue encasing extended almost to his knees, had flat bottoms with no toes, and had little openings separating the leg and feet areas for easier walking.

Adding to this was the fact that his legs were shrinking down to half of their size, and the same was happening to his arms and torso. He was now about half of his original size, and his head was feeling pretty off. It was finally growing to fit the helmet, until it was a perfect fit. Underneath, his brown hair was darkening a bit and growing some more. His black eyes were growing a tad and becoming blue. His lips disappeared, and his nose shrunk down a bit.

"What?" he said in a much younger voice at he looked down at himself. The helmet's electric shock had given him the ten-year old body of Rock! But the changes were far from over.

All over his body, his skin was hardening. While it wasn't visible, it was becoming made of metal, and all the fat and muscle in his body burned into nothing. All of his body hair was being sucked in, and his skin was as smooth as smooth could be. Despite the metal body, all of his joints functioned fine and it all looked generally unchanged. Except down below, where his unnecessary privates were slowly disappearing into him. After all, genders are unnecessary to robots.

And now, he was getting covered with armor. His legs, arms, and torso were slowly gaining flexible light blue metal armor that stopped where his underwear would be worn. There, blue underwear-shaped armor formed and would keep his armor from looking like one piece. On his hands, blue glove-like metal formed, and it was somehow flexible like a glove. On his upper arms, many pieces of blue armor formed, which would be able to switch between hand and weapon. His right one stayed the same for now, but his left one was turning and moving until a Mega Buster was there, and from there, an energy exertion device formed to be able to shoot balls of energy like a gun.

And finally, his insides were changing. His inner organs were becoming metal and hard plastic as they shifted and switched, each one gaining a robotic purpose. Most notable changes include: His blood became oil, as his heart became an energy tank and his vessels would keep it running his body. His lungs and stomach reshaped into more useful components, as such functions as eating and breathing were no longer necessary. His bones became stronger metal, and reshaped to work his body right. His nerves were reshaping and repurposing into a computer system.

And finally, the head changes. His brain disconnected from his eyes, which were flat and attached by now, as his eyes gained a strong backlight. His brain became metal and flattened out more, eventually shrinking greatly and reshaping itself into a high-capacity computer chip. All of his memories and brain functions were being converted to data, so by now, Dylan was pretty much a computer on the inside that functioned as a robot. (That's a robot in a nutshell) By now, the changes were over. Dylan had completely become the famous blue bomber.

Before he could even fully react to what happened, Dirk came in holding an odd remote and a computer chip. Dylan had a ton of questions, but Dirk pressed a button on his remote which triggered something in Dylan. His back lights turned off, and his computer system shut down, as Dylan fell unconscious. From there, Dirk removed his helmet, opened a small latch in the back of Dylan's head, and replaced his computer chip containing his memories with another computer chip, containing the memories of the blue bomber himself. He then closed the latch, stepped out of the room, and pressed another button that made the whole room glow white. Dylan's armor glowed, as his body was being transported to its correct location by the machine.

Smiling, Dirk went to the back to place Dylan's computer chip with the rest.

When Dylan reactivated, his new computer chip was in control, and Dylan was Mega Man inside and out. He was called by Doctor Light to handle a town emergency, so he ran to the monitor with him to see what damage Wily was causing.

First I get a request by someone named Peter like me, then I write a mini-series of a kid named Daniel like my brother, and now I get requests from two Dylans? This is getting confusing.

Thankfully, I have context for Mega Man, and I was thinking of using that context to make a different plot, but I had no idea what kind of plot that would be. I had to use mind-altering and the helmet was the obvious trigger, so Antique Your Existence was kind of a no-brainier. It was definitely interesting detailing all the stuff that would change from being a robot, but sorry if I made it too dark!

So enjoy my first robot TF, and the return of Antique Your Existence!
